The PARTY🔥🔥

What would a wedding be with the party! And let me tell you Macie and I partied! From socializing with friends and family to talking with our brothers on missions the reception started with joy and laughter. We slipped away for a short time to toss our matching sneakers on for the party.

After about an hour of socializing and soda drinking we got to start the real festivities with a cake cutting, never really understood this tradition but hey I’m all here for shoving cake into my new wife’s face.

With the cake behind us we got to do some dancing, dancing of the slower type. My mother is not one that enjoys the spotlight but without warning I took her to the dance floor and we did our mother son dance to “You’ll Be In My Heart” by Phil Collin’s. It was a special moment, the mother son bond is always special and hard to describe. Following my mother and I, Macie got to dance with her dad. Then it was Macie and I turn, as we slowly danced around the floor while Tessa sang our song the word slowed down and it was just the two of us together for just a few minutes.

Then after a bouquet toss and a quick dress change the real dance party began. For a solid 33 minutes we went crazy! With guest appearances from my dad, Macies dad, john, Anthony, my groomsmen, Macies bridesmaids the dance floor was packed and poppin the whole time. With a grand finale into the pond and quick change we were off on our own into our new adventure!

It’s just me and my amigos 💪💪

These guys have had my back in all sorts of different situations. All of them from different pieces of my life. To have them with me on this special day was epic.

Caleb- From the streets of Longview WA to an assortment of adventures in UT Caleb has always been there for me. An absolute disciple of Jesus Christ as loyal as they come! The man can make anyone laugh and knows just how to brighten someone’s day.

Ethan- No I’m not bragging about myself I’m talking about THE Ethan Jensen! Best believe when I needed someone to hang out with during my time in Rock Springs Ethan was there. We may have drank a lot more caffeine then we should’ve but it was a party

Nathan- My guy Nathan is a day one OG! We had all sorts of great adventures. With not much to do in Cokeville we always managed to find something to do.

Tyler- You won’t find a more loyal and committed friend in the world. Tyler and I ran miles and miles together and there’s a special bond that is built when you go through strenuous situations like that.

Cooper- You know it’s hard to explain a brotherly love but Cooper and I show it by talking shoes and sports but it’s so much deeper than material things. It’s a love only brothers can have.

Easton- Everyone needs a ball of joy in their lives and Easton is always full of joy. You can always count on Easton to make you happy, his smiles infectious and happiness just rubs off on everyone he interacts with.

These boys mean the world to me and life wouldn’t be the same without out them! I love them all so much, so grateful they could all make it to celebrate such a big day.

“Worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in truth; and that ye live in THANKSGIVING daily, for the many mercies and blessings which he doth bestow upon you” Alma 34:38

On this day of gratitude I just have to say I am beyond grateful for all the great influences in my life. Friends and Family have had a huge impact on me and the person I am today. Just grateful to have such good influences in my life. God is Good 🙏💛

1 year ago today I returned home from my mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to serve the people of Washington. I know that Jesus is the Christ, the Book of Mormon is true, and the God loves all of His children.

Everyday I ponder on the lessons I learned and the experiences I had on my mission. Without this experience I don’t know where I would be today.

Washington will always be a sacred place to me

an experience of a lifetime.

this weekend i was privileged enough to attend all 5 sessions of general conference where i was able to hear from our living prophet, apostles and church leaders!

some of my favorite moments going in person for the first time:

- witnessing in the flesh elder uctdorf kiss elder holland on the head (such a tender moment and if you don’t know what i’m talking about go look at the church news!)
- having elder uctdorf and his wife pose as they photobomb our picture
- seeing elder pearson again and getting to talk to him and take a picture with him
- sitting in 5th row right where the prophet and apostles walk off so we got to wave at all of them (fun fact: they have the funniest waves/little hand signals they do to the crowd)
- running into friends and people who know my parents
- being in the same room as the prophet !!
- hearing the 15 new temples announced and being able to enjoy the excitement with all 21,000 people in the conference center
- hearing the tabernacle choir sing live
- singing how firm a foundation
- feeling the powerful spirit as members of the church gathered together
- and experiencing the giddy-ness that comes with every general conference :)

there are so many more things to be shared as we were thoroughly drenched with doctrine these past couple days, but i’ll put it simply, the church is true and i’m so thankful to be apart of it!!!

“there has never been a better time to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints than today”

These guys I probably one of the sole reasons I am who I am today.
Thank you for being my best friends- the ones who seriously have kept me alive and somewhat sane these last couple months. You often say that I’m the mom and i stay strong for you guys, but you are the strong ones. You inspire me every day to be the gal I am.
Caleb- I love how grounded you keep me. Thank you for inspiring me to remain faithful to my lord. Thank you for the prayers you have given me and the prayers we’ve said together. Thank you for always making me laugh.
Alex- Words cannot describe how grateful I am to you. Who you are is a person is who I strive to be. You’re intelligent, funny, a peach to be around, and strong as all hell. I never expected when I was in 6th grade that our bond would grow this strong. Thank you for showing me perseverance and optimism when I needed it most.
Cooper- I tell you all the time. I love you, and you are actually my husband in another life. I’m greatful to you for many reasons, but I’ll tell you in person because you have no social media...
Lance- Yes, I’m not no snake, I included you. You make me a better person Tof. Plain and simple. You’re funny and I relate to you often. I’m glad I have you in my life.
Michael-...I don’t even know where to start. You have become truly one of my bestest friends over the last two-three months. I have been able to take so much out of our friendship, and for that I am forever grateful. Thank you for being strong, caring, funny, and being someone I can look up to. I’m proud of you and can’t wait to see your future.
I love you guys (no homo). Thank you for never leaving even when the sun stops shining.
Three cheers to the L Squad❤️
