I was up because of the fireworks anyway, so I made good use of the insomnia and tackled the first instructional memoir from @sxbondimprimatur, @imogen.mangle, and @offregisterhq. Lots of good insight into the creative process, wonderful sense of humor, and a cameo from @grant.morrison!

Can’t wait to read the rest of the set now. First book of 2026! #comicbooks #shellybond #vertigocomics #readmorecomics

We are excited to share photos of Halloween Hangover 2!

Gen collaborated with us on two songs; he rapped on a cover of Evanescence's Bring me to life, but also sang on the Funband original 'Does it well'. Thanks for doing it well Gen!

I didn’t get to go round even a quarter of the tables I planned to, but here’s a small @thoughtbubblefestival haul. So many more comics I meant to pick up but barely left my table all weekend!

Had such an amazing one. Thanks to @matyldraws and @iglootree for being wonderful table neighbours, @msclairebiddles, @aestheticcluttercore and @rjjvance for being the best flatmates, and every single person who came up to buy something or say hi. Especially old comics friends I’ve not seen for a decade like @beckybarnicomics. Oh! And @lucysullivanuk for shouting out Intro to Charts on the Best of the Year panel!

Also also, @katrionachapman, @averyhillpublishing, @mercerartgallery, and @kbaczynski for putting on an incredible comic art exhibition and letting me be a small part of it.

Exhausted and happy to be back in Scotland, but feeling really happy to be enjoying comics again like this. Thanks everyone x

On my way back from @lakesinternationalcomics. What a beaut, invigorating weekend with pals old and new.

Amazing to read (as many as I could) of the @firstgraphicnovel long list - I hope they all become GNs! Fingers crossed for everyone. Also hanging out with @graphicnovelreadingroom which is the best con decompression zone ever -- Gabi's portal to peaceful paradise 🚪

Lots of incred talks, panels and chats, my rejuvenated brain is buzzing with plans, plots, and schemes.
