🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🏆
Roman Tape — 14 years old. 6’6”. And just getting started! 💪🏽🔥

Roman and his team took home the championship at the MADE HOOPS 15U Fall Upstate Shootout, with Roman making his presence felt on BOTH ends of the floor. Lockdown defense, offensive production, and an impact that goes beyond the stat sheet.

The size, the skill, the versatility, and the mindset are all coming together. This kid’s future is BRIGHT, and he’s quickly becoming a force to be reckoned with. 🚀

5-Minute Pre-Game Warmup

Playing basketball or pickleball? Stop by Impact Performance before you hit the court and get your body ready to move.

We’re leaving foam rollers and mini bands out on the turf for court users to use before they play. Run through this quick 5-minute warmup:

1️⃣ Foam Roll — 30 sec each

Calves
Hamstrings
Back
Glutes
Quads

2️⃣ Mobility — 1 set

Hamstring floss × 5/side
Overhead arm slides × 10
World’s Greatest Stretch × 3/side

3️⃣ Activation — 1 set

Lateral mini-band walks × 10/ side
Band pull-aparts × 10

4️⃣ Dynamic Movement — 1 set

Small pogo hops × 10
Lateral shuffle × 20y/ side

5 minutes. No complicated routine. Just get warm, move well, and get ready to play.

Grab a band, grab a roller, and get moving. 💪

1)Favorite Part of your sport?
My favorite part of my sports definitely has to be the friendships and everything learned along the way. In a few years you won’t remember wins or losses but you will never forget your favorite people.

2)Future Goals?
My future goals are to continue my volleyball career and continue to work hard in the classroom to become an elementary teacher.

3)Hype Song?
Hype song has to be Get It Sexxy since my nickname has slowly transformed into Big Red or Sexxy Red mostly from softball.

4)Funniest Teammate?
softball definitely has to go to Sammy Cipriano and at volleyball no one’s funnier than me even if they try to be😜

5)Best piece of advice for younger athletes? My advice for younger athletes is if it doesn’t feel fun anymore you likely aren’t in the right place but that doesn’t mean give up. Find your right fit and a team + coaching staff that believes in you and always follow your dreams!!
