The people I did this for. Lots of support and love today. I could not have done this last year of ups and downs without any of you and many of you aren’t in these pics and couldn’t be here today 🥺 We did it dawg 🔥 #chicagomarathon

🚨TRIGGER WARNING🚨 🚫 Did not break my sobriety with alcohol or marijuana 🚫 👇🏽👇🏽 I’ll always be an advocate for mental health. I hope for the people who don’t believe in it sit and LISTEN & WATCH. This video is meant to inform about bipolar disorder and see an insider view of my life as someone who was diagnosed with it. Creating this video wasn’t easy. The hours of finding the right shot, getting the people I asked to be in it to do a video, the script…etc. Getting myself into dark mindsets to show you an idea of what this looks like wasn’t easy. Holding tequila in my hand and acting out taking a shot was a huge trigger and wasn’t easy. But when is any of this shit easy? Never. Please share with friends & family ❤️ I hope this reaches at least one person and saves their life. You’re loved. I know it’s hard to remember that in those dark places but you’re so loved in this world. NOSTIGMAS fundraiser link in bio. Every amount of donation helps My goal is the Boston marathon in honor of my dad and my first step is the Chicago marathon in order to qualify. This fundraiser helps me secure my spot in the race this year 🙏🏽 #mentalhealthmatters #bipolardisorder #stay

Little over 5 months later and back in the racing grind. IT band syndrome no joke and I’m no where ready for a marathon. 191 days 😈 Goal was just to finish the race and was prepared to walk if needed. Didn’t stop once and feel great post-race 🙏🏽 1 of 3 of the Tri series done. Next is half marathon in June 🏁 Big thank you to my support group today. Yall my dawgs type shit.

2024 thank you for being one of the best years of my life 🙏🏽 As I look back at my camera roll I didn’t realize how much I did and I wish I could post all the memories here. 👉🏽From seeing some of my favorite artists 👉🏽Meeting quite a few dope af people 👉🏽Getting in some of the best shape in my life 👉🏽Seeing the last Palm walk across that graduation stage 👉🏽Securing a job at Apple 👉🏽Reuniting with friends 👉🏽Running two half marathons 👉🏽AND securing a spot in the Chicago marathon next year running with @nostigmas 🙏🏽 All the goods come with bads though. Having to re-admit myself back for the second time into a mental health facility wasn’t on my bingo card for 2024 but things happen 🤷🏽‍♀️ As much as I fought going back in, it was one of the best decisions and things I did for myself this entire year. The people I met in there, you know who you are, yall saved me. And the people who pushed me to go, you know who you are, yall saved me. 2025 a new year. Lock in everyone Don’t go into the new year in a weak mindset. (Also my DM’s always open for anyone who needs help with mental health resources ❤️)
