hear ye hear ye,

this very wednesday (day of mercury) a queer haze descends upon the feasting hall valhalla - expect scarlett beet-wix cereal and a mob dressed to impress.

the artists:

the elusive impress will be spouting sounds like every dance music idea someone has witnessed patched & sewn together through whatever means were available at the time

scarlett scraps together sampling, electronic, classical and noise based elements to create existentially desperate and tender songs

beat witch beet-wix as always will conjure charming chiptune chaos on their Nintendo DS, while enchanting the audience with effervescent flute and acrobatic vocals

tickets in bio !! Xxx

and thanks @maevepwr for the beautiful poster !!

AAKI comes from the word manaakitanga: hospitality, kindness and support-the process of showing respect and generosity and care for others.

AAKI brings this core value with them into every environment they enter, and now they’re bringing it to their home town Te Whanganui-a-Tara.

Having lived in Ōtautahi for quite some time they’re excited to translate the swampy, mucky wetlands to te Upoko o te Ika. AAKI will bring a sound that will move your body and wairua.

Mai te awa ki te moana xx

Next in our 🥵🥵🥵 lineup: DJ Thank U So Much! 💥💥💥

DJ Thank U So Much cut her teeth on 100 birthdays and 100 house parties for 100 people, and is now ready to deftly crawl onto the scene unprepared & hungry for a crowd. Her specialties are weird edits and mangled 21st century classics. Her setup doesn’t make a lot of sense, but the end product does: bouncy, strange, energetic, bittersweet, frothworthy, lesbiotic, maybe more. Dress to dance!! TYSM!!
