CALL FOR INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY

SOLIDARITY RAFFLE FOR HUMANITARIAN AID

BACKGROUND
On 10 August, a 7.4-magnitude earthquake was reported in western Colombia, affecting areas such as Chocó, Cali, Valle del Cauca and the coffee-growing region. We are appealing to the solidarity of the hip-hop movement in Europe to raise funds to enable the reconstruction of @casamanglecali – a self-managed cultural centre where the first ‘Hip Hop Insurrekto’ event was due to take place in Cali. “Hip Hop Insurrekto” is a festival, a space for networking and dialogue on the significance and role of hip-hop in social movements.

Furthermore, the funds are intended to help the affected Afro-Colombian and indigenous communities living in areas that are difficult to access.

How does the solidarity prize draw work?
1. For every donation, you can choose one of the 100 available numbers.
2. To choose your number, message @kanal16_ We have prizes in sizes M, L and XL. When you choose your number, please specify which prize you’d like to enter for.
3. The prize draw will take place live on Instagram at @hiphop.insurrektocol on 15 October.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SUPPORTING THE SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN FOR THOSE AFFECTED BY THE EARTHQUAKE. LONG LIVE INTERNATIONAL SOLIDARITY!

AUFRUF ZUR INTERNATIONALEN SOLIDARITÄT

VERLOSUNGSAKTION ZUR HUMANITÄREN HILFE

KONTEXT
