A beautiful week spent away at my childhood weekend and vacation location 🏝️

My babies had the best time spending quality time with their cousins and by the beach - we even got to do a little nature hike too which was such a beautiful change.

Grateful for these core memories and moments we are getting to share together while we visit our home away from home ❤️

✨ a birthing woman left in her full intuition and being with a low intervention birthing team on her side will look like a goddess ✨

How could you not? When you're in your birthing bubble, you're in your primate, intuitive state.

There is nothing more natural and rural than experiencing these moments.

It doesn't matter if your birth will take only a few hours or close to 50 hours! You can love, instill and cherish this experience.

The most important thing is that you, as the birthing mother knows that you can surrender, relax and move however you want and when you want.

To birth in bliss and completely surrender into the experience.

The perfect pal for your newborn. Our white noise paired with a heartbeat is designed to mimic the womb, paired with the snuggliest lovey that smells just like mama and you're set up for success.

There's a reason Riff Raff mums ALWAYS buy their Riff Raff pre-birth the second time around... because we only ever hear one thing... I wish I had bought it sooner.

Unsure how to bond with your baby?

Don't worry, you're not alone. Bonding is a complex, personal experience and not everyone will bond with their baby at the same time.

The following can help you to feel closer to your baby, so why not have a go at a few of these?

💛 Baby massage - this sensory delight can strengthen your bond because it provides an opportunity for you to express your love and will help your baby feel relaxed.

💚 Skin to skin contact - this is really beneficial for bonding for both parents, so try to carve out some time for this when you can.

💛 Making eye contact with your baby - this is a vital means of communication, which in turn develops a two-way relationship.

💚 Movement & music - dancing with your baby is a lovely way to feel closer to your baby and your baby will love the movement and calming melodies.

💛 Singing to your baby - a way of speaking to your baby which they will really enjoy.

💚 Cuddling up and reading a book - no matter how young your baby is, this is a lovely activity and is an easy way to have a conversation with your baby if that's something you're struggling with.

If you feel ready to get out and about, our Baby Sensory classes are also great for having one-to-one time to bond with your baby, without any distractions at home.

As the eldest of 6 kids and having seen 4 of them being born in our home, I can say that a womens body, mind and soul is so strongly connected in the moment of birth itself.

Being into your birth bubble and swaying in and out of it with each surge, until the time is there. The moment everyone is waiting for. That birthing bubble, is your guide, your intuition, your knowing of what's going on with your body and baby.

It's the dance you have with your baby. The movement, the talking, the grunting or the calmness that's the conversation you have between you and your baby.

A very crucial moment to stay in this bubble, to feel yourself, be yourself without shame, fear or anxiety. It's the biggest moment to surrender, follow and thoroughly connect with your intuitive wisdom.

Train yourself to be in this bubble, to go back into it quickly. Be you. 🤍

I started doing photography because it was an excuse:
an excuse to crawl out of my postpartum cave,
an excuse to be creative,
an excuse to socialize in a less anxiety-inducing way…

And yet I found so much more:
I found other mothers in the same situation
I found other women in different situations
I found community, support, and acceptance…

And that has made all the difference.

Thank you for doing this beautiful sunrise session with me
