Tour #1 of Day 3 at the National FFA Convention. We spent our morning at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. We started off with a mobile tour, driving the track while listening to past history and statistics. Then, we were able to walk part of the track and participate in the tradition of kissing the bricks. Finally, we walked through the museum where we watched videos about a day on the track, completed interactive simulations, viewed trophies and memorabilia that will not be forgotten for generations. Thank you to Indy Speedway for having us!! @indianapolismotorspeedway @imsmuseum

We shifted gears from learning to connecting at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum!

Great conversations, new connections, and good times with our Franchise Owners, leadership team, and partners.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us!

Day 1: arrived to Indianapolis after a 9+ hour travel day

Day 2: Indianapolis Speedway Museum

Driving simulators in the museum (multiple crashes and burn outs were had 😂)

We got to test our hand eye coordination just like drivers train to do!

Winners!

Fun Fact: Louis Meyer was the first 3-time winner of the Indy 500 in 1936. That third year, he wanted buttermilk waiting for him at the finish line. The picture of him drinking buttermilk made the front page of the newspaper the next day, beginning a tradition for Indy 500 winners.

The American Dairy Association has supplied the milk for Indy 500 winners since that year. Drivers get three choices: whole milk, 2% milk, or skim milk (no flavored milk allowed)! 🥛🏁

TOUCHDOWN COLTS 🏈

We got to grab dinner with our very own national delegate, Trenton Silva!
