Rooted in authentic cultural tropes and filmed in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, the goal was to celebrate Latin American culture through comedy, storytelling, and the shared joy of “tastes from home.”

While the other spots were produced in Spanish and Portuguese, this English-led commercial highlights multiple Latin cultures and celebrates what brings them together: a shared love of fútbol!

In the middle of Mexico there is a tiny magic town called San Miguel, filled of dreamers and creators, where the colors are rich and light patterns paint the uneven hills.

There is a little street, with a view of the cathedral, that in my mind will forever be Ally and Steve’s street, where they exchanged vows as the sun rose and the locals rose with it.

There is a house, called Cada Adela. Where every corner is flooded with curation and beauty, and a courtyard where we danced to Daniel Ceasar and ate tacos and drank Mezcal. Where their loved ones shared their love in the form of speeches, and tears flowed in abundance.

And then there is me! Enamored with my subjects and the lessons they are teaching me in life and love. Eager to bring life to it all through the language I know best called photo.

The first of many segments of the iconic wedding of Ally & Steve. Tender moments getting ready at @casaadelamexico. One of the many things that we connected fast over was music, specifically our shared love of Mac Miller. At one point as I jumped between the two suite rooms, I caught that they both happened to be listening to the same song at the same moment (Dunno, one of my all time favorites) my heart leaped and I reveled in the fact that I got to be the one to tell them just how cute and meant to be they were.

To Steve and Ally, two people who could make anywhere in the world feel like home to someone like me.
