When a massive sandstorm hits your luxury desert camp 10 minutes after checking in...

We drove 4x4s into the Agafay Desert, welcomed by local music and a rainbow in the sky. Then the weather completely shifted. Running for cover in zero visibility while the wind shook my tent was crazy!

By the time the dust settled, the rest of the evening couldn’t have been better—candlelit tent, tagines, local wine, and music around the fire pits. Then woke up to breakfast looking out across the quiet desert.

Unplanned, wild, and one of the most unforgettable nights in Morocco.

The kids absolutely loved this sunset camel ride - us too (thighs maybe not so much…).

When the camel driver offered to take a photo I honestly didn’t expect this great video - what a guy!

We’ve had the most amazing trip in Morocco - who wants to see more?!

TRAVEL — Beyond the Medina, Marrakech.

From the golden hills of the Agafay Desert to the lush gardens of the Palmeraie, Marrakech reveals a quieter side of luxury, where architecture, nature and Moroccan craftsmanship come together.

In VILLAS #127, we explore three exceptional addresses offering their own interpretation of the art of living.

— @parkhyatt_marrakech , overlooking the Atlas Mountains, where contemporary architecture draws inspiration from traditional Moroccan palaces, combining generous volumes, refined materials and a sense of understated elegance.

— @oasis.terrajanna , a peaceful sanctuary in the Palmeraie, where raw-earth architecture, natural materials and gardens filled with palm and olive trees celebrate the beauty of Moroccan craftsmanship.

— @inaracamp nestled in the rocky landscapes of the Agafay Desert, where luxury tents, lodges and private villas blend into their surroundings. A place defined by silence, endless horizons and evenings beneath the stars.

Three destinations, three perspectives on luxury, united by a shared appreciation for place, heritage and the beauty of slowing down.

Discover our Marrakech selection in VILLAS #127.
