Blackfin tuna on a vertical jig!

These torpedo shaped fish are built for speed, regularly reaching 46 mph. As pelagic species, you'll find these guys in the open ocean. Often, they move in schools looking for prey.

Although they are smaller than other tuna, they still have a striking color and eyes. All tuna have incredible eye sight, so catching them on a vertical jig is definitely a challenge but not impossible.

Thank you to Captain @indablue_
for a great trip!

“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money." Matthew 6:24 NIV‬

✅2022✅
It’s been an amazing year for me on the water I can definitely say I have been blessed🙏🏼 I’ve made plenty of mistakes throughout the year but you just gotta keep your head down and learn from those mistakes. Thanks to all who made this year as special as it was there are some catches that I will never forget and some PB’s that’s will be tough to beat. Enjoy my 2022 recap.
