This next chapter of my life is an ode to everything I knew I could become, a love letter to every version of me that sacrificed to get here.

My twenties were a season of becoming. Every setback, every lesson, every version of me contributed to the slow and tender cultivation of the woman I am today.

I honor every version of myself. The one who was brave. The one who was scared. The one who got it wrong. The one who was simply doing the best she could with what she knew at the time. She didn’t always know where she was going, but she kept moving forward anyway.

And despite everything, I never hardened. My heart is still full, still soft, and continues to guide me in the best ways I know how.

I’ve learned to give myself grace, sit with difficult truths, take up space, and recognize that the world is not mine alone to carry.

To this moment. To this woman. She is so deserving of all the things she once dreamed of.

Thirty is my arrival. I am here. Present and grateful.

To the little girl inside me, thank you for never letting go of the vision. I never stopped believing in you either. 🤍

Perfectionism had me re-editing the same thing over and over. At some point you realize… if you don’t have a real baseline for your craft, you’ll never feel satisfied.

That’s the dangerous part about being a perfectionist.

“Photography isn’t fast money bro… go get a job.”

This conversation with Dean is something more people need to hear. Everybody wants the lifestyle, but nobody talks about the years it takes to become valuable at your craft.

I quit a $95k a year job to make $18/hr selling sausages out of a van because I knew I needed more time to chase what I actually wanted in life.

Too many people let pride stop them from starting over. Sometimes you take a step back financially so you can finally move forward mentally.
