Margot went to Camp Connections for the second year this summer!! It is one of the most inclusive environments we have found for her and she now looks forward to it :) Margot is in ABA full-time which means she does not have a traditional summer break and continues therapy throughout the summer. She appreciates the routine and schedule it maintains. However, it is still important to us that we give her a “summer”. Camp is half days for two weeks and then she comes home to chill and gets the summer experience :) Transition back can be tough, but that’s how it goes for starting a new school year too!

This camp works with IU speech language pathology graduate students and kids with varying communication challenges. Last year Margot deleted her TD Snap (communication app) off her iPad the first day 🤪 She has a device for clarification, but always prefers to use her voice. She definitely gets the point across! 🤣

The Greene-Sullivan Counties Wellness Fair at Saron United Church of Christ in Linton welcomed community members for a day of free health screenings and valuable wellness resources.

This event was made possible through the collaboration of multiple IU schools and departments, along with community partnerships. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success! A wide high-angle shot of a large, diverse group of health fair participants and staff gathered in a circle in a gymnasium, all reaching their hands toward the center for a group huddle.
