WORLD PREMIERE | BLACK SOIL | DOCUMENTARY
In the late 1930s, an unprecedented New Deal program helped 42 Black families buy land in the heartland of the Mississippi Delta. It turned out to be some of the richest soil in the country. Through decades when Black farmers lost millions of acres of farmland, the Allen family expanded their land. Today, they manage over 1500 acres and are looking to regenerative practices to continue building a legacy for the next generation.
