and that’s a WRAP on the No Lace Fronts in Iowa midwestern summer book tour ~ !!

thank you to everyone who supported me this summer—whether that meant buying a book, coming out for a reading, agreeing to read with me, or offering words of encouragement to calm my reading nerves!!

so happy that my final stop was in Madison, WI — a few years ago I wrote the earliest version of my titular poem “No Lace Fronts in Iowa City” in Madison. such a lovely, full-circle moment to return for my final tour reading — and so many thanks to @roomofonesownbooks for curating such a thoughtful and beautiful event ❤️

very excited for the fall ~

This Friday, August 14th, the incredible @indigoesblues will be celebrating the release of her DEBUT MF ALBUM and you all should JOIN US in celebrating this national holiday (not attending will be the biggest mistake of ur life fr)!!

This album builds worlds—of tenderness, of longing, healing—and explores selfhood in ways that will sit with you for a very long time. (And I promise you’ll be better for it.) Indigo’s dedication to her artistry shines so bright — to experience her music is to be forever changed, held, loved.

i am so honored to be a part of this special special line up on this special special day ❤️
