Very proud to announce that my work is showcased in the “When I look and you look back” exhibition at the world’s busiest airport, Hartsfield-Jackson International(had to say the whole govt). As an Atlanta native, I got very emotional 🥹 seeing 24(TWENTY FOUR,OKAYYY?) of my photos displayed on Concourse D’s plane train level!! It feels very serendipitous that when I was contacted for the opportunity I wasn’t a flight attendant yet. I’ve since earned my wings and get to marry my love of photography + travel. Somebody hand me a bottle of @viaraewines to celebrate this momentous occasion!! 🥰🥂

A huge thank you to my community and subjects who get to revel in this moment with me. It’s an honor and a privilege to see & be seen by you. IT’S UP ✈️ 🫶🏾✨

I love everything about gallery openings but my favorite part is seeing people stop & spend time with my pieces.

I’ve been reflecting a lot on the past few weeks and wanted to share how grateful I am for the opportunities I’ve had to showcase my work :’) It’s been an incredible experience to share my art, especially as a Black and Queer artist, given how few spaces exist for us to do so freely.

A few years ago, I couldn’t have imagined having such a strong support system and community. Using art to connect with my identities and express myself has been both healing and inspiring. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who’s shared their stories through my films and photography—your openness and trust mean the world to me.

I’m also so thankful for all the support for the concert I hosted for the Mercury’s Stars documentary. Hearing everyone’s feedback has been truly special. I’m excited about what’s next and forever grateful for all the support along the way 🫶🏾

Through the works of 8 amazingly talented photographers and filmmakers, we explore the ways that people, especially women, adapt to different spaces they exist within. Join us as we question the implications of shrinking one’s self, and the ways in which women rebel against the notion that they must shrink themselves.
