Thanks @desireesleebos.nl 💖

The team that just wouldn’t quit!

Never did I think a simple idea would end up creating one of my most special memories, especially for this year! making my second anime sticker for @winwardracing to race with and watching that pure rollercoaster of a season! from winning in Daytona, to getting wrecked in Sebring and ending up 300 points down in the championship, then seeing them claw back up to the top to achieve a third straight championship at Petit! Seeing an idea become so popular and then getting to watch them fight it out all throughout the year has been a pure blast and I can’t wait to see what more they’ll achieve!!!

TDLR: I love this damn team 🏆🏆🏆

THE COMEBACK WASN’T FINISHED.
Winward Racing started the 2026 IMSA season with victory at Daytona. Then came the difficult races, a 300-point championship deficit, and a fight to get back into contention.

Three consecutive victories at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Road America and VIR changed everything. By the time the #57 Mercedes-AMG GT3 arrived at Petit Le Mans, Philip Ellis and Russell Ward were on the verge of a third consecutive GTD championship.

But Road Atlanta had more in store.
Sixteen Full Course Yellows, severe storms and a race suspension tested the field.

The GTD drivers’, teams’ and manufacturers’ titles were secured early, but the Michelin Endurance Cup was still undecided.

With thirty minutes remaining, the #57 returned to the lead.
Ten hours, 346 laps and one final victory later, Ellis, Ward and Dontje had delivered Winward Racing’s first Petit Le Mans win, secured both Endurance Cup titles and completed a season worth five championships.

Three consecutive GTD title sweeps for Mercedes-AMG.
A first in IMSA history.

Some championships are won through consistency.
This one required a comeback.

Indy 8h did not go to plan, but we did not give up despite some setbacks.

We had a great time, regardless of the result. The fact that we pushed through to the finish is a testament to @tr3racing , @bgw_racing and @indydontje .

We definitely have unfinished business… we will be back!

And that’s a wrap on the 2026 GTWCA season! 🏁

What a season for Team TR3! We couldn’t be prouder of @bgw_racing on his first year in GT3 racing alongside @danielmorad who we’re incredibly grateful to for being such an important part of this journey.

A heartfelt thank you to our TR3 crew. The countless hours, hard work, sacrifices, and dedication that go into this program never go unnoticed. Racing takes an incredible team of people behind the scenes, and we’re so grateful for every single person who gives their all to make this program what it is. We’re proud of what we’ve accomplished together and, most importantly, proud of the people who make TR3 so special.

The Indy 8 Hour brought its own challenges. While it wasn’t the result we came for, we fought through it, brought the car home, and finished together. That perseverance is something to be proud of, and we’re thankful to everyone who put in the work to get us to the finish line.

Thank you to our crew, partners, and supporters for being part of the TR3 family. Here’s to everything we’ve built together and what’s still to come💪
