This space in my living room has always been kind of the designated activity spot. It’s basically just carpet on concrete, and over the last 6 years, I’ve given it such a beating. That being said, this one took a lot out of me for some reason. Could be a plethora of different excuses to why it was difficult to do a trick that I once used as a factor for how much I needed to warm up, or I can just be happy that I can still do it at all. Brains are weird, bodies are weird, life is weird, my feet hurt.🙃 #fliptober #parkour #tricking #itsfine #life

I did so many of these. Each one the tiniest sliver different than the last. Too low, not inverted enough, my other leg bent weird on the landing, I made a dumb face. This one still isn’t exactly what I wanted but the closest to it. I’m not picky, I just have very high standards and a sense of obligation to make these look like I know what I’m doing so the ones who need it have clear visuals to study. That’s what I tell myself anyway.🤷‍♂️😅 #fliptober #tricking #parkour #perfectionism #delusional

I tend to forget the wall tricks are my favorite until I’m working them. Having friends who also like to jump on (and off of) walls helps you get better faster.🧇💕 #fliptober #parkour #tricking #friends #breakfast

I’ve kinda put a governer of sorts on myself the last few years for some dumb psycho-illogical reasons. It hasn’t helped anyone (go figure) and it’s put me into a weird relationship with training. I miss being in the flow state every session, and almost daily for a while. Time to start putting in real effort again.💁‍♂️ #fliptober #parkour #tricking #friends #mental

It’s early, my body is feeling slow, I’m not happy with the shape, but I did it! Yay for “easy tricks”😪💕🥏 #fliptober #parkour #tricking #sleepy #didit

A few little dreams of mine is to do motion capture for zombies and monsters in video games, but also to play a main villain in a horror movie. Maybe one day?🤷‍♂️ #fliptober #parkour #tricking #motioncapture #oneday

When exhaustion takes over, do something alittle easier, but easy will never mean “half assed.”🤘🏼 #fliptober #parkour #tricking #effort #bars

We watched a “documentary” in high school about Stealth Rubber. It is the more or less a soft rubber formula used for the tires on drag racers. They had taken the material and applied it to the soles of tennis shoes and given them to a bunch of parkour athletes. In that video, one of the athletes jumped to his hands on the wall of a tunnel and rotated around his arms. At the time it looked like a glitch to me. That move was a Wallspin, and in that moment, I decided I was going to switch my focus from skateboarding to parkour so I could learn that move. Here I am, almost 20 years later, teaching that skill as a “beginner trick” to children. Stop allowing other people to tell you that “you can’t do it.” If you really want it, you’ll find a way to make it happen. 🦾#fliptober #parkour #tricking #stealthrubber #coach

Perspective is such a weird concept. This room is so much bigger and so much smaller than it looks. What’s do you see?🤷‍♂️ #fliptober #parkour #tricking #memories #art
