“You ain’t never had a friend like me!” 🧞‍♂️

Bravo to the cast of “Aladdin Jr.” for yesterday’s impressive and high energy show! Students from kindergarten through 8th grade sang and danced their way through the story of a kind-hearted thief who discovers a magical genie, falls for Princess Jasmine, and learns that being yourself is the real magic.

Watching the cast’s hard work come to life was truly MAGIC to see! 🌟👏

“It’s the circle of life, and it moves us all…” 🌅

Our stage came alive last night as our amazing students took us on a journey through The Lion King. With every line, song, and step, they reminded us of the power of courage, friendship, and growing into who you’re meant to be.

Bravo to our talented cast and crew—we are so proud! 🦁🎭

Congratulations to the cast of “Schoolhouse Rock Live!, Jr.” They gave us lessons in grammar, math, social studies, science and more … all through the magic of song and dance! Our K-8th grade performers have been working for weeks as part of an after-school enrichment and their hard work showed in tonight’s performance. These Lions ROCKED!

into the woods.

the show has been over for a few weeks at this point, but every few days, i put together these photos and start to write a caption that expresses how important this show and this experience has been to me.

none of the times i pressed post.

none of the words felt right. they didn’t convey my feelings enough.
because the truth is no words can describe what i got to do this summer.
this was such a special show. this was such a special group of performers.
i love this show with my whole heart, and i love iaa with my whole heart, and getting to do into the woods at iaa was quite literally a dream come true.

to ms dana (and the staff and students of IAA): i promise this isn’t goodbye (old pal!).

to ms dana: thank you for the last 3 1/2 years. they were the best years of my life. i wouldn’t be where i am today without you.

i bet in about four hours im going to regret posting this, because i will have more i wanted to say here that i dont have the time or instagram caption character count to add.

tldr: guys post show depression (PSD) exists and im going to miss iaa so so much
