Install time for the @sbx_performance_llc @gsportbygesi downpipe! Swipe through to the end of some pulls on cold ass tires. 😵‍💫😆

The stud gods have blessed me.

Reinstalled the oem heat shield with their supplied stands and hardware.

Aaannnd I snapped a bolt. Guess something had to snap since it's a k20c1 dp install. 😆 Not a problem though as it's the one located at the bottom..... plus I couldn't find my drill bits to remove it. 💀

Received the wrong gaskets (I got 2 on accident) and had to prove my worth to the lord and savior of this downpipe. We got it squared away and Tommy @sbx_performance_llc is sending me a new one.

For now I just installed it in the only configuration it would fit. 2 holing it as the pron stars say. 🥸

Looks so good! Now I'm heavily considering doing an inconel wrap. 😵‍💫 I'll take some temp readings so I can compare later if I do it.

Secret base is secret. 🤫

That rattle is from asimo hanging right next to my dashcam. Might be time to go little buddy.

𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶 𝗥𝟴 𝗩𝟭𝟬 𝗣𝗹𝘂𝘀 – 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝟮 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘅-𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

We've had our Audi R8 V10 Plus back on the Dynojet this week, continuing development of our flex-fuel calibration using the DynoSpectrum DS1 platform.

We've been working with E50 and E70 ethanol blends, alongside testing a prototype intake from Infinity Designs, which has shown some promising results.

The car is still running the Akrapovič titanium slip-on exhaust with factory manifolds and catalytic converters retained.

𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗼 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘀 📈

🔹 Stock ECU (Akrapovič): 544 WHP | 406 LB-FT
🔹 Stage 2 (99 RON): 548 WHP | 410 LB-FT
🔹 Stage 2 (E68): 576 WHP | 429 LB-FT
🔹 Stage 2 (E68 + Infinity Intake): 590 WHP | 437 LB-FT

All figures measured at the wheels.

As expected with a naturally aspirated V10, the gains on pump fuel are relatively modest at peak power, although there are improvements throughout the rev range.

Switching to E68 made a noticeable difference, taking us to 576 WHP with the standard intake.

Adding the Infinity Designs prototype intake increased that to 590 WHP, a further 14 WHP at peak, with improvements continuing through the upper rev range.

What's particularly interesting is the difference in the mid-range.

At 5,514 RPM, we've gone from 369 WHP and 352 LB-FT on the stock calibration to 424 WHP and 404 LB-FT with the full package.

That's an additional 55 WHP and 52 LB-FT at exactly the same RPM.

Overall, we're now 46 WHP up on our original baseline, with considerably more performance available throughout the rev range.

Not bad considering we're still running factory catalysts and a naturally aspirated engine!

We'll be continuing development with Infinity Designs on the intake, alongside further work on our DS1 flex-fuel calibration.

2022 Toyota GR Yaris in for a same-day package of upgrades and tuning.

Fitted with an Infinity Design intake, AIRTEC intercooler, Whifbitz 3” exhaust, resonated GPF pipe, wheel spacers, mirror riser and a few other upgrades before finishing off with a custom EcuTek tune.

Final result: 326BHP 🔥

A great fast road setup, all completed in one visit.

Swift Performance track days have always been BMW only, but for our Donington Park Unsilenced day we decided to open it up to everyone.

There were still plenty of BMWs, but this time they were joined by Porsches, supercars, race cars and all sorts of other track builds for a full day at Donington.

This video is a look back at the day, both on track and around the paddock.

We were joined by Nitron, Motor Milk, Infinity Design and Magma Cars, along with a great mix of customers, friends and some seriously good cars.

A massive thank you to everyone who came along and made the day what it was. We had a brilliant time and we are already looking forward to the next one.
