A little recap from my week! I started off on radio tour where I visited @josh_fuller at @kstarcountry99.7fm in Montgomery and @texredmusic2026 in Santa Fe! Then I headed to @hoots_hall for @theshipshow_trhr with @carsonclaymusic! On Friday night my beautiful friend, @jillianhudsonofficial, joined me at @backporchsocialrr for a little song swap! I had so much fun!! I ended the week in Ingram where I had the pleasure of playing with @info37records and @weldonlister at the @lazydayscanteen! Thankful for all of the opportunities I had this past week! 💕

Happy Birthday, Olivia!! "Happy Birthday to Me" was written in the late 90s by Olivia Newton-John, Steven McClintock & Victoria Shaw after Olivia had successfully finished a round of cancer treatments and was excited to celebrate another birthday.

A few years back, after Olivia's passing, I was asked by Steven McClintock to bring this song to life. To be trusted with this song is one of the greatest honors of my career.

I truly wish we could have heard Olivia’s voice singing this; it would have been perfection. I sing my version humbly, not trying to emulate Olivia, but simply from my heart. 🤍

Happy Birthday to Me is dedicated to Olivia Newton-John, and to everyone who continues to fight, heal, and celebrate life, especially on the days when it feels hardest to do so.

How to hold so much joy for all that I am a part of, and the true exhaustion that comes from trying to “do it all”
As a single mama, a musician, a nonprofit leader, and a community advocate, I stay really busy. I wake at dawn to feed my kids, get them to school, run to morning meetings, shoot videos, record radio interviews, and more. It’s a joy, an honor, and…exhausting. I just want to share this side as I hear over and over again how great it appears, but the side no one sees is the behind the scenes juggling act of solo motherhood. So I write it to get a huge hug from all those I love who hold me up and keep encouraging me. THANK YOU to my community who lets me be exhausted and elated all at the same time.

Releasing tomorrow! "Happy Birthday to Me" written by Olivia Newton-John, Steven McClintock, and Victoria Shaw. Written in the 90s and meant for Olivia, but, sadly, she never recorded it.

I was asked by the songwriters to bring this beautiful song to life, and with the help of Dan Sia and Jacob Zang, it turned out to be such a fun project and one of my favorite songs. I can't wait for the world to hear it tomorrow on Olivia's birthday! 💖

Got to do a radio interview from the @rockboxtheater on @991thebuck earlier today with @elletownleymusic - some of the cool things I quizzed her on:

1️⃣ When she played here at the @rockboxtheater for @songwritertxshow with hosts @booneholding and @brent_ryan_music - back on 4/8/26 - who was the other musical guest?

2️⃣ At that same show at @rockboxtheater - what friend/mentor, who was there that night, did she keep giving shout outs too?

3️⃣ When she played here again on 6/20/26 as part of the Rich O'Toole & Friends show @richotoole - who did she share the stage with?

And @elletownleymusic was nice enough to play us some acoustic songs - including my personal favorite and not yet released tune "I'm The One That Got Away" - be on the lookout for that one!!! 👊 In the meantime, check out her latest radio release "You're Not Enough" 🙌

So happy we got to be your last stop on your radio tour 🙏

Crazy to think when I first met @elletownleymusic here at @rockboxtheater - five months ago, I was not even a volunteer, and now they let me host a radio show two days a week!!!!! Let's go!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Thanks @landonlloydmiller @991thebuck 🙏🙏

BIG NEWS:
I'll be coming to you LIVE on @991thebuck - Thursdays and Fridays (11 AM to 2 PM) - from the @rockboxtheater in Fredericksburg, TX 👊

We’re still riding high with excitement over Dan’s big win last night, and now we have more exciting news!

✨Mark your calendars for Olivia’s birthday, September 26th!✨ We have something truly special coming. I was asked to release a song written by Olivia Newton-John that she never recorded.

In the ‘90s, Olivia co-wrote a song with two amazing, award winning writers, Steven McClintock and Victoria Shaw, but she never got the chance to record or release it.

I was asked to be the one to finally share this song with the world, and I couldn’t think of a more meaningful day to do it than what would have been Olivia’s 78th birthday.

I worked on this recording with two extremely talented, award-winning musicians, Dan Sia and Jacob Zang.

More details coming soon. Stay tuned! 💛
