Life is all about the little moments 🧡

September is my favorite month in Oregon. The crowds start to go away, the weather is still warm, but the excitement of autumn is in the air. 🍂☀️

(Autumn to me means I begin thinking of heading to Mexico)

This summer felt like it slipped through my fingers, so for the remainder of my time in Oregon, I want to be intentional. To spend as much time as I can outside. To be present with my dogs and hunny. To take moments of slowness. I actually treat a weekend like a weekend. 💫

I’ve been screaming this from the open desert for years, but damn, it wonderful it feels to slow down. To connect with yourself. To not cram as much as you can into a day. 🌵

I am currently sitting in the “badlands of Oregon”. I can see juniper and sage brush out my backdoor and the sun is already getting warm. It’s moments like this where I feel so grateful to be alive. ✨

Franks is in bed looking out the window and pen is lying in the sun. ☀️

This is what I call good livin.

Love you. Mean it. 💕

Late summer, gathered slowly.
On September 20, Native Provisions x Gorge Permaculture are coming together for an afternoon centered around food, plants, creativity, and the season we’re in.

We’ll spend the afternoon making, eating, soaking, and learning together — with a charcuterie workshop, @sundogfarmacy fig leaf shrub, hapa-zome botanical printing, botanical ink painting with @mollyholmlund, sauna, cold plunge + onsen, followed by a seasonal cooking-course with @petraknapp for dinner accompanied by @color.collector wines and dessert.
