no perfect route to follow 🌀

Just decisions to make, places to discover, legs to test and plenty of moments that probably made more sense afterwards.

And maybe that was the whole point.

Somewhere between the first coffee at the HUB and the last runners making their way back, something happened that was difficult to plan - and even harder to put into words.

Around 60 people who (some) had never even met before set off into the Chiemgau Alps with little more than a booklet, four checkpoints and the freedom to make the day their own.

Not chasing one result, but creating your own experience - then coming back together with a few more stories, a few more friends and a very good reason to do it all again.

Thank you @saltytrailrunning & @salomon.dach for this fun event, the checkpoint crews who made it possible, and everyone who brought their own version of THE WILD SIGNAL to life.

Turns out, not every race needs to be raced…

We moved together, took detours, found shortcuts, stopped for the views & pushed when it felt right

No pressure, no chasing times… just a really good day out on the trails 🫰🏼😌
