These plans that existed before 1948…were never about “resistance.” Y’all have held society hostage long enough.

But hey - take these 17 port-a-potties while Trump meets with Mamdani in his mansion, and stop mentioning the concentration camps, ya spoil sports, huh?

But they won’t always be. And our dinner tables will change.

Not liking this Alt-reality.

What’s a more significant name than Hohenzollern to most people? Christ. And this is a family that claims the divine right to rule…while slaughtering people.

The irony, of course, is that royalists are going out of their way to silence a royal lol. But because they can’t fathom that what happened to me - what’s still happening to me - is betrayal, they don’t see it for what it is. And if they’re willing to do this to someone so closely related to the main royals - trying to erase my identity and family history entirely, while employing cult members to stalk and harass me - imagine what they’ll do to your kids if you let them.

Today has been all about the cars!

Before leaving Bathurst, Michael and I drove a breakneck lap of the Mount Panorama racing circuit. Then we got to visit Sofala. It has been a dream of mine for so many years to explore the narrow streets of magical Sofala. One of my all-time favourite films, and a massive influence on my writing, is the legendary The Cars That Ate Paris. It was Peter Weir's first feature film, and was shot in Sofala. An incredible experience to finally walk the streets that don't seem to have changed in the 50+ years since the film was made. I can still feel the presence of John Meillon's The Mayor. I can still hear the snarling cars of the town's youth.

We're in Mudgee now and gearing up for our book event at The Book Nest from 6pm tonight! ❤️

This is where the weekend slows down, where you can disappear for a while into a chair, into a book, into your own head.

The reading room is all deep brown walls, soft light, and a small library filled with some classics you’ll recognise, some titles you probably won’t, and hopefully a book that ends up following you from room to room for the weekend.

It’s for slow mornings or long evenings, rain drops on the window if you’re lucky, and nowhere else you need to be.

Further away than usual, yet something familiar remains.

A quiet recognition, in a different place.

A wonderful friend said to me last week, “That’s what friends are for.” She was right. A few reminders, a few laughs, and the usual messy room/hair combo. xx

Thanks for being wonderful

✨Autumnal Touches ✨

Instead of lots of orange, I love weaving in seasonal touches that blend with my home. Pumpkins, books, and candles make it feel cosy without taking over 🍂

Do you go all out for autumn decor, or do you prefer subtle seasonal touches?🤎
