october started with one of those rainy mornings that makes you want to be outside even more.

we ended up at bby market in oak cliff, walking through all the little pop-ups, stopping at local shops, eating, looking around with absolutely nowhere to be. it kept raining the entire time and somehow made everything feel even nicer.

had the most gorgeous start to october 🫶🏻🌧️

@bby.mrkt vlog experience and interviewing brands I personally know and love.

From my pov: bby market is more than just a monthly market. Every vendor is so intentional with their creativity, and you can feel the heart behind everything they make. It’s not just a space to shop, it’s a space to connect with people you’ve never met, discover something new, and somehow leave feeling so loved on. 🤎

Not shown: the HARD days. The sweet encounters. The chaos of go-go-go between school days and behind-the-chair days. The amazing friendships, the workouts and runs my body sometimes doesn’t want to push through, the housework, the endless laundry and meals to make lol the list goes on..

Life is full. Sometimes it’s messy, exhausting, beautiful and everything in between!

Romanticize your life. 🤍 It’s so much more fun when you stop taking yourself—and everything—so seriously! 🙃

Let the light flood in

Yesterday I sat around the living room with some of my best friends.
They listened and we talked.
And I felt and lights began to touch and warm the parts of my soul that had felt left in the dark.
I am so lucky.
I am so blessed.

I am so far from perfect but I am seen and loved and cared for just the same.
I felt seen and understood and safe and counseled.

To be vulnerable with people you love, who are truly your friends, who do life with you, who will challenge you and give you wisdom and guidance in a loving way.
Something I will never take for granted.

I love you my friends. Thank you for the safe places and for the warmth and sunshine that yall are.
Thank you god.
