POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Lady On TikTok is a song I wrote about a Lady whom started following me after first few clips on TT and made couple videos dancing to my songs early days. She had a regular live on TT where she talked about her journey through addiction, abuse homelessness n rehab and had found Solace in her Art which she was really good at, holistic medicine, crystals, tree hugging n earth grounding in her bare feet. She told stories of her life some sad, funny and traumatic too. She was a great dancer and had a move for every tune. So I wrote this song about her.

Lady On TikTok is another one where title explains itself. About a Lady whom comeback from addiction, domestic abuse & homelessness and found peace and happiness in holistic medicines, earth grounding, crystals, dance & music. She liked few of my first songs on TT and we followed each other. She was a great dancer and had some great stories. Some very sad n some very funny. She would do lives and was entertaining so I wrote Lady On TikTok based around her.

This is a good track to boogie to and Band play it well as you can see.
Sorry bout only showing half of band I thought when I first set it up it showed whole stage 🙈so my Bad for that but it still allows you to hear whole band and as Musicians that’s most important thing.
You are treated to footage of our wonderful drummer Marvin @keylyricofficial or Marvellous Marvin as I like to call him keepin the groove along with Balint @valentin.guitar keepin Rythmn & Tamara @itstamarajade splashing the Colour on keys and her wonderful voice on Vocal’s which has enhanced the Band sound overall since she joined.

Of course We couldn’t be a Band without the crackin George @georgeleonside giving the beats on Bass guitar & the kid with the Licks who gives us such great Guitar Solos Jacob @jacob.isava.mighty_artist who on are not in video but definitely in the sound.
Along with myself of course.
Come check us out on Fri 13th Nov @themusicbox.se1 @lccmlondon union street Southwark 7 - 10pm on @reallivesessions event.

It is a tough ride at times trying to get Gigs n ppl to show up to them. We understand we are competing with every entertainment app gadget platform venues and Artists/Bands for audience but We ain’t lookin for hundreds or thousands to follow us 🤔atm that is We just want ppl that genuinely connect with our Music, Genre’s and Personalities and of course ppl who can relate to our lyrics enjoy our Gigs like to dance and feel involved. If this resonates with you come see us perform at next gig 13th Nov @themusicbox.se1 @lccmlondon at the @reallivesessions event.

Portobello Blu Band: @jaminajarbar
New song written by our Drummer Marvin @keylyricofficial last week and We loved it so much We put it in our set as our last song of the night.
Great venue sound guy is quality and takes it serious 🙏 not many bring levels up n down for solos but he was great n gave us a great sound.

Pity there wasn’t bigger crowd on the night but U play for those who do turn up which we are grateful for. This can be hard work getting a following as We know we have a good band & most of band are @lccm Uni so if any genuine supporters of Rock/Funky Blues/Reggae Original music are reading come check Us out at our next gig @Music box LCCM Uni On Union street Southwark on 13th Nov. U won’t be disappointed and We will entertain U.
So help Us to create a Following for a Band of Artists in their own right whom created this Band for Live Events . Please Share, like & Follow us as We will breakout ‘27 and U can be one that helps us get there.

Oceans Blu:
Song about Coming back to what you once were and should’ve been if Only !!
We all got an “ If Only “ story or two to tell soo wont go into too much details about mine .

Basically if you know me then you know Me and hopefully you know enough about me to know where I’m coming from with this song and explanation.
I write songs about myself and the life I been through what I observed, lived through and endured at times and this song is no different.

Sometimes U gotta reflect and be grateful for where you are atm. Sometimes U already done the hard part without realising it, battles were won even if it didn’t seem like it at the time. You are still here for a start so take a minute to think it through U are wiser n more equipped to deal with things than you ever were so one step at a time Tony I say as I talk to myself. What will be will be Go embrace the challenge sure you’re 60 next year nothing you can’t do

Portobello Blu
Oceans Blu is a song about bouncing back from the struggles of the past and acknowledging the journey you have managed to survive.
Reflecting on what you have overcome and being grateful for it.

Sometimes the hardest Battles in Life have already been won U just got to recognise that fact and anything else that comes at U now can be overcome too. You are Quite capable just need to plan it out. I Say this as I struggle with marketing n Promotion 🤔

All this social media posting n generating clips to promote my songs drives me mad at times. It really is still hard work and frustrating at times.

Do I have belief in myself yes for most of the tasks Songwriting not a problem I get this ability from my Dad who loved to write stories and had me writing poems n stories at early age.

Singing I know I can sing and have a unique sounding raspy tone which has served me well in bands in past and still does.

Performing on stage is second nature whether Solo or as Band havn done it so often previously and I always give 💯 as I can’t do it any other way.

But still I struggle with this social media side of things and it does my head in at times

So I put this down t my generation not using tech from early age as I am 60 nxt year 😎

Oceans Blu is a very relatable song.
Release on 11th Oct.

Portobello Blu: One More City
Song I started to write with my first Band in England same name Portobello Blu back in early 00’s while travelling from Beer Festival Gig near Ipswich to Worcester for Gig next night. It was lashing rain like a freak Downpour for most of it n the sound on roof of Van had a bit of a Rythm in our stoned minds as we smoked n drank to our successful show at the festival having gone down really well with couple of encores too which promoter had to come t Mike and say That’s it from Portobello Blu as crowd cheered for more n was the biggest audience we played to atm.
So we were buzzin as U can imagine and as one or two got stoned n fell asleep me n Legend guitarist Bob Tydor RIP🙏 Axeman decided we would write a song about it n he started playin some licks of an intro and we got down to it. Obviously we didn’t wanna disturb the guys Beauty Sleep especially the keyboard guy who was a bit of a freak show as he called it, God Knows we were an odd lookin band at times 👀.
Anyway we got a nice 12 bar blues going n I wrote the first 4 verses before we got to Worcester and I put away the A4 flyer from fest I was writing on.
Couldn’t find it when searching n forgot about it.
Forward 20 years Im sitting in Prison doing 6 yr sentence for Drugs Offence and I’m 9 years since I done any music at all and I had other things on my mind.
Long story short although bit late for that now 🤔
I asked my Son to send me in my old song book of mine n the flyer was in it so I finally finished writing the rest of song in ‘23 recorded last year and now finally Out Now on 26th Sept.
#uk Go Check it Out 👀
