Venham.

✨Bio

Initial is a collective of DJs and promoters currently consisting of founder member Degree and Wah.
Originally conceived by co-founder A/X as an outlet for the lesser spotlighted sounds in drum and bass, Initial has expanded to encompass a 2 year radio show on Power Fm and a year on Unknown FM, a weekly Sunday session in Berlin D2, monthly nights in Lost Lane, Bar Eile, The Sound House Terrace and festival appearances at Membrain in Croatia among other things.
They have hosted guests such as Spirit, Medika, FIS, Jubei, Kid Drama, Sam Binga, Seba, Loxy, Kate Sublime and countless up-and-coming and established homegrown artists.
Their nights try to showcase the vibrancy and diversity within drum and bass and show that a vibrant scene is ultimately about the music, people and atmosphere.

🔥 wAh: The Master Selector Closing Out of Order 🎧

Some DJs mix music. wAh tells a story.

Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, but now a long-time staple in Dublin’s underground scene, wAh has spent over 20 years perfecting his craft—not by producing tracks, but by digging deep and curating the perfect selection of Drum’n’Bass and Jungle beats. His sets aren’t just about energy; they’re about creating a journey that keeps the crowd moving from start to finish.

His love for music started with the guitar, but everything changed when he discovered electronic music after moving to Ireland. He quickly immersed himself in DJ culture, and by the late 2000s, he was making waves in the local scene. But it wasn’t just about spinning tracks—it was about keeping the Drum’n’Bass movement alive in Dublin.

For years, he ran a weekly Drum’n’Bass night with Initial Kru, building a solid community of bass lovers and ravers. Whether in underground clubs or festival stages, he’s kept the spirit of raw, high-energy sets alive—and now, he’s bringing that energy to Out of Order.

As the final act of the night, you can expect deep, rolling rhythms, seamless transitions, and a set packed with tracks that hit just right. It’s a performance for the real heads, the newcomers, and anyone who just wants to lose themselves in the music.
