Deciding to join the fire service is easily one of the best decisions I have ever made, and joining @tcesd8 is one of my proudest moments. I feel very fortunate to be a part of both the department and the service. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible. I genuinely love what I do and I look forward to what the future holds

Happy girl chewing a bone in the sunshine ☀️ 🐶

This is Nikki and she’s a member of the @classiccaninesatx crew! She’s estimated to be about 8 years old, but if you put a few toys in front of her, you’d never know she was a senior gal!

Nikki unfortunately has several of the physical characteristics that make people look past her at the shelter. At first glance, she looks intimidating; strong, powerful, chopped ears, and overbred mama nipples.

Nikki luckily doesn’t let any of those characteristics or snap judgements define her! She is a super sweet, loving and playful doggo!

We can’t wait for this girl to find her forever ❤️🐶

Usually when we take a dog out, they can’t wait to run around and play. That wasn’t the case today with this sweet, stressed boy. He’s not used to shelter life and when we got away from the loud kennels, Jarrod immediately found a quiet, sunny spot on the rug and fell asleep.

His previous owners lost their home and had to make the difficult choice to give up their sweet pup. He is full of love, and beyond ready to nap in the sunny spot in a forever home.

Fauna was a literal angel @hisignbrewing this weekend. All she wants is a soft blanket and some snuggles from the humans.

Oh, and before we headed on our adventure, Fauna took a lil bath and it’s just the cutest 🐶🥰

This gal walks great on a leash, is people and pup friendly, and ready to find her forever!

Milk Duddy is such a sweetheart. He loves playing in the water and enjoys other pups, too! He walks well on a leash (once he gets his initial excitement out) and is an all around gem of a dog ❤️🐶

Friday field trip with Marcy!

Marcy is everything you could possibly want in a pup. She walks well on a leash, loves people, plays well with other dogs, and is also the most beautiful lady you’ve ever seen.

We went on a long walk at Govalle Park and then took a ride to @satencoffee to meet some new people and sploot on the cool concrete.

She is estimated to be about two years old and is waiting for her perfect family to find her!

A wonderful morning adventure with Milk Duddy! Started off with a ride in the Jeep to meet lots of folks at @fleetcoffeeco followed by long walk on the trail to show off his stellar leash skills. Another successful field trip with an amazing pup just waiting for their forever home.
