READING PICTURES TO TELL A STORY (PT2)

I've tagged the illustrator of the art postcards shown. I will share the student's story with the artist if the child's story is not fully visible. And would like the artist to share their thoughts after reading the child's story.

The postcards were collected over the years from @Scbwi conferences and online across social media. Attribution has been provided in each post to acknowledge the creatives' work.

1. Vanessa Morales - Chasing Fireflies
2. Anita Bagdi - Earth Day
3. Shelley Hanmo - The Chase
4. Katy Tanis - Penguins Meet Whales
5. Elizabeth Lampman Davis - Fairies
6. Layton Scarbrough - Night Drive
7. Eduardo Pena - Girl and Tiger

💲 @juanonjuan10 “All $ales Final” tat on his leg is dope! When I asked him about the piece he explained it saying, “Shit everything you do gotta be intentional. Once u say something, can’t get those words back. Once u spend ur time, can’t get that shit back.
More often than not, ur actions are final.” What’re your thoughts?

Got blessed by @inkbypena yesterday with my birth symbol from the Maya calendar.. Batz (Monkey) ”The Scribe of the Gods” holding the paintbrush and a shell with ink in it. From a photo I took of the statue when I was in Mexico City! #blackngreytattoo #scribe #prehispanic #tattoo #artist #symbol #statue #batz #santacruz #cali
