Part two: we found the flow.

She taped a pencil to a bamboo stick. She wasn’t inventing anything, she just wanted to draw from a distance and she solved it right there in front of me.

Then we noticed we weren’t on top of each other anymore. Neither of us planned that part.

By the end she was freehanding and I was on the grid. We’d swapped.

Nobody was leading. We were both just bringing something the other didn’t have. #crea8tivesoul

Before a single line, we had to find each other’s rhythm. The grid, the freehand, the temperature, the mascara. All of it was part of it.

People think collaboration starts when the pencil moves. It doesn’t. It starts in the back and forth, the negotiating, the circling.
