What is a trade night in Pokémon?

Around my area a trade night is typically a gathering of small card vendors. There can be anywhere from 5 to 15 tables of people showcasing card collections for sale or trade.

Typically you’re going to see single cards for sale and it’s somewhat common knowledge that vendors are open to trading cards from your collection for cards from their collection.

Trade nights are fun, because they are typically free to attend. Vendors also tend to have some more unique cards at great prices to showcase from their collections. Compared to bigger shows where vendors will often buy copies of popular cards to sell, trade night vendors can have some unique fines that you might not see otherwise.

It’s common for trade nights to be hosted at local businesses, typically a boba shop or a restaurant. However, this is the first time I had been to a tattoo shop trade night. I’ll be honest I was expecting a much different experience for being hosted at a tattoo shop, but this was definitely an experience in itself.
