✨ THE BRIDE ✨
I’ve been treating these posts like diary as the wedding event settle in to me. The wedding events were so close to each other that it took me some time to process it all, especially the big day. Having only two hours of sleep before the wedding also did not help, but it didn’t take away from the magic of it all.

I must thank the wonderful @drewgalleguez for my princess makeover! You cannot name a better HMUA team in my book. He did an amazing job on me, my mom, and my mother-in-law! Their aura is unmatched, and even when you are at your most tired in the day, they managed to pick you up and make you look like you are well rested!!! From the moment that we met for my trial, it was all fun and giggles and jokes. The vibe was getting ready with their besties. I cannot think your team enough for all your styling needs.

Sidenote: Drew is so talented that when we had to fix my second dress since I wanted to do a last-minute shorter shoe change, he sewed the side of my dress to create rouging to lift it up, so I wound y trip on it because his talents don’t stop at makeup and hair. No. He also used to make dresses too! His team is the full package!!!

The dresses were all originals by the lovely and talented @julianne_syjuco. I always knew that I wanted a princess ball gown for my wedding dress, but I didn’t know any detail outside of that. I did not know that I had a dream wedding dress before them, but when I saw my dress finished for the first time, I knew it was the one.

The flowers were by the amazing @kynokho. He understood my love for peonies and pastels in the best way.

What made my day better?

As I slowly remind myself of where is where here in Manila, I try to go every weekend to explore. Today we went to Vertis North. I am amazed on how these malls are now here. So many shops to visit. But first things first, @thecraftcentral .

Some weddings leave a lasting imprint on your heart.

Just a few weeks before their wedding day, Erika lost her beloved mom. It was an unimaginable heartbreak, and for a moment, she thought of postponing the celebration.

But surrounded by the love and encouragement of family and friends, she found the strength to walk down the aisle—carrying not only her bouquet, but also her mother’s love in her heart.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the room.
It was a day filled with tears, laughter, heartfelt embraces, and the kind of joy that reminds us love is stronger than grief.

One of the most touching moments was seeing a seat lovingly reserved for the Mother of the Bride—a beautiful reminder that while she could no longer be seen, she was deeply present in every prayer, every smile, and every cherished moment.

Where do I even begin?

Two weeks ago, our closest family and friends rearranged their lives to celebrate the beginning of this new chapter with us.

People crossed oceans to be there. Some flew from the UK and Australia. Some even made the journey from Canada for just a single week. Others we hadn’t seen in years, but without hesitation booked flights, rearranged their schedules, and showed up.

And I think that’s what has stayed with me most.

So many people came up to us throughout the night and told us how spoiled they felt by the incredible food prepared by @passioncooksph, the beautiful setup by @bloomseventstyling, and the amazing program put together by @_mikeacuna.

But the truth is, we were the ones who felt spoiled. We have never felt so much love in one room.

To look around and see the people who have walked through different seasons of life with us all gathered in one place was something we’ll never forget. Not once did anyone make us feel like being there was an inconvenience or a difficult decision despite the miles, flights, and schedules that separated us.

Of everything involved in planning a wedding, feeling loved by all of you was the easiest part.

So thank you.

And thank you to our incredible team who brought our vision to life.
