Very excited to tattoo this harlequin duck this month!! I love their little feet in the water. They migrate to alberta in the spring and summer, and are even at the inglewood bird sanctuary in calgary, where my client likes to go birdwatching! Feel free to reach out for booking for autumn and winter!

Just thinking about our Inuk girl in downtown calgary…It was such a fun process, i loved interacting with the community down there and really appreciated how warm everyone was. Just totally bathed in the sun, painting fish, thats the dream. Thanks @inkstitcher for bringing me on to this project to learn about mural painting and giving me the opportunity to help create more inuit representation in the place i live and love!!

🌀Sketchbook dump🌀 this is the kinda stuff i like to work on for fun, just in my own free time :3 the first slide piece is one im still working on between tattoos, its colored pencil with oil pastels layered on top. I have a few sketches in there as well, an outline of a bigger piece i want to tattoo, some altered bat flash, little doodles, and a WIP of a harlequin duck ill be tattooing soon!! Sometimes i need to make art just to create, outside of a work setting and without the worry of doing it ‘right’. Really, there isnt a right way to do art, and i think the idea of doing it “right” is honestly pretty silly. Anyways, if anyones read this at all, thanks for indulging my ramblings!!
