What a beautiful time in Vancouver! Thanks to our hosts Cynthia @hardcore.stevedore & River @river_boxes_skates_andlife and for Elijah Exiliahu @inkydew with Reed for playing a fantastic opening set. Emma & Rosa the cats supervised the set up of the garden under Itamar's @itamarm22 enchanting flute spell. Next stop: Montreal!

The Yiddish word of the day is…. ARAMAIC!!? אַרמיש!!

Behold: a comic of a liturgical poem written in Aramaic by Rabbi Meir bar Yitzchak sometime before his death in 1095

Beware: as you may be able to tell, I am getting sick of having to do this project.

Bonus post for levoneh-likht, today’s Yiddish word of the day meaning moonlight! A yiddish translation of Townes Van Zandts “Lungs”, please feel free to eviscerate and/or gently correct my Yiddish in the comments!

Zukhtzetl -index!

Didn’t have time to make anything for the Yiddish word of the day today because @chaialeh and I were busy preparing and playing two shows of Yiddish diasporist bangers at @lobestudio_ in Vancouver! So, here is an index of our tech needs!
