🧙🏼‍♂️ I’m convinced audio engineers are working some kind of sorcery. 🧙🏼‍♀️

Because if you’ve ever listened mid-session, you know it doesn’t always sound smooth right away.

It can feel a bit chopped up with different takes, tones, pickups, tiny adjustments, and then, BOOM.

Somehow it all comes together perfectly.
Not because anything was off.
But because you’re hearing the process in real time.

🪄 What blows my mind is how fast they work under pressure.

Making micro-adjustments, shaping timing, massaging the audio so it fits seamlessly with picture, all while under the gun for time. Becasue this industry works FAST.

🏹 It’s precision.
💗 It’s instinct.
🎨 It’s artistry.

And it’s a really good reminder (for me, at least) that you don’t need one flawless, start-to-finish take.

You just need to stay present, trust your choices and most importantly, trust the incredibly skilled humans building it with you.

Because what they do behind the scenes?
Feels a lot like magic.

🦄 Huge appreciation for some of the VO magicians I’ve had the pleasure of working with:

We created some destructive work with our partners @goemans_appliances, helping people release their appliance anger, and get them the best replacements.
