Good morning, Burlington! Rain or shine, the 59th Annual Snake Alley Art Fair is ON, and Memorial Auditorium is the place to be today!

With the weather keeping many outdoor plans on hold, we hope you’ll spend the day with us supporting the incredible artists who have worked for months to prepare for this weekend. More than 70 artists have traveled from across Iowa and neighboring states, and they’ve transformed every little pocket of Memorial Auditorium into a treasure hunt of original art.

Here’s what’s happening today:

• 70+ artists throughout Memorial Auditorium
• Live music throughout the day
• Bid on Justin Meier’s original sculpture inspired by this year’s featured design. Silent auction closes at 2 PM.
• Food from @dande_grille and @louiezfoodtrailer
• The famous FUMC Lemonade Shake Ups
• Additional dining options downtown and at the church at the top of Snake Alley
• People’s Choice voting

Unfortunately, due to the move indoors, we won’t have kids activities this year. Families, be sure to join us at Jefferson St Farmers Market on Thursday, for our exclusive Snake Alley Art Fair project!

This year’s fair may look a little different, but the heart of Snake Alley Art Fair remains the same: artists, community, and creativity.

We want to thank @burlingtonriverfront, @downtownburlingtonia, our volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, the media, and everyone in the community who helped pull this together on short notice. It truly takes a village, and we’re reminded once again how special this community is.

So grab a friend, bring Dad, stay dry, and spend the day with us.

See you at Memorial Auditorium from 9 AM–4 PM!

Premier sponsors: @standardofbeaverdale and J&M Displays.
