5 HABITS THAT SLOWLY PULL US AWAY FROM GOD

1. Becoming Slothful
Spiritual laziness rarely happens overnight. We slowly stop praying, stop reading the Word, stop seeking God—and eventually realize we’ve drifted.

2. Ignoring Conviction
Every time we recognize God correcting us but choose to ignore Him, we become a little less sensitive to His voice. Stay connected to the Vine. (John 15:4–5)

3. Becoming Numb to Sin
We aren’t perfect, and we will stumble—but there’s a difference between struggling against sin and becoming comfortable with it. Never make peace with what Jesus died to free you from.

4. Disconnecting From Church
Following Jesus was never designed to be a solo walk. Stay connected to the Body. They need what God placed inside of you—and you need what God placed inside of them. (Hebrews 10:24–25)

5. Allowing Footholds to Become Strongholds
Unchecked anger. Lust. Envy. Bitterness. Pride. What we continually entertain can eventually gain influence over us. Scripture warns us: “Do not give the devil a foothold.” (Ephesians 4:27)

You usually don’t wake up one morning and decide to walk away from God.

You drift one compromise at a time.

Stay prayerful.
Stay sensitive.
Stay in the Word.
Stay connected.
Stay close to Jesus. ✝️

3 key tasks that move you forward.
5 quick wins to build momentum.

4️⃣ 10-Minute Rule

Beat procrastination with momentum, not motivation.

5️⃣ The Prayer Rule 🙏🏾
A man who only trains his body and mind is still incomplete.

Defining Worship

Romans 12:1 AMP
* “Therefore I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.”

* Worship only finds its value when the posture is right
* Worship is the posture that’ll dictate your position - Attitude —> Altitude

True Worship ➡️ Alignment to Glory

Worship begins in the secret place, not praise and worship. Sunday is a time we isolate to gather with brethren and worship collectively. When we all come together (Psalm 133:1) there in unity God commands His blessing and releases his glory as we see in Chronicles 5:11-14.

What is Worship? - Total surrender of honoring, reverencing, and valuing God for who He is

* Shacah (Hebrew) -To bow; prostrate (to be overcome, overwhelmed, brought to one’s knees, to throw oneself flat)

* Proskuneo (Greek) - “to fall down before” or “bow down before.
