Spiritual growth can be hijacked by ego. Not the loud kind. The refined kind. The kind that compares. The kind that feels slightly elevated. The kind that quietly measures others. Ramadaan does not need your performance. It asks for sincerity. This week, observe without defending yourself. Awareness is purification. #InnerRihla #RamadaanReflection

From someone who’s walked through the storm — healing after divorce takes time, tenderness, and tawakkul. Break it down: 🌧 4 weeks — just survive. Feel it all. Cry as much as you need to but Pray even more than that. 🌤 4 months — rebuild your rhythm. Therapy, routines, gratitude. 🌺 4 years — grow with purpose. You’ll still stumble, but you’ll stand stronger each time. You’re not broken — you’re being rebuilt by Ar-Rahman. H.H 🤍

• FITRAH AND AUTHENTICITY • Following on from our conversations session this week which I co-hosted with the @inner_rihla there are some concepts we felt we would like to hold onto and reflect on in order to bring it into our lives, insha Allah. We’ve found both the liberating and comforting answer of knowing that we are slaves of Allah. With this knowledge,we now need to reconnect with the uniqueness that Allah created ‎each of His SWT slaves with. That uniqueness is our own natural fitrah. For this, we asked @inner_rihla to provide us with a definition of what is our natural fitrah and how this relates to the concept of authenticity, which is how we aim to be in this world.
