Finding your hinge ✨
Moving from the hip joint while maintaining a neutral spine is such an important concept to understand—and to teach.

Try this: no springs on. Set yourself up and hinge from the hips, focusing on maintaining your neutral spine rather than moving into spinal flexion.

I especially love this for clients who may need to avoid or limit thoracic/spinal flexion. It can be a great way to warm up the body, find the hip hinge and create awareness before moving into your workout.

Would you use this as a warm-up? Love to hear your thoughts below 👇

She’ll remember your kid’s birthday, cover a shift with zero notice, and handle a client meltdown before her first coffee but ask her what she actually needs? She’ll say “I’m fine.” Every time.

This one’s for the business owners who are the glue holding their business together, and for the people who love them and want to actually help instead of just offering to.

If you’re the one who’s always holding it together — tag someone who needs to send you this. Or send it to whoever’s holding it together for you.

Successful business owners don’t wonder if they can afford an expert.
They wonder how they ever ran things without one.

You’ve got an accountant for the numbers.
Maybe a lawyer for the contracts.

But when a hiring decision, a pricing question, or a “should I even do this” moment shows up at 9pm — who’s the person you call?

If the answer is nobody that’s a missing line on your speed dial.

Real-time support isn’t a luxury for when the business “gets big enough.” It’s how the business gets there faster — every guess you don’t have to make alone is time and money you don’t burn figuring it out the hard way.

Members in the Fit Biz Accelerator get to have myself and my coaches on speed dial for real time support and trouble shooting.

We have 2 spots left in this cohort. If you’re ready to have this kind of expert business support at your fingertips apply at the link in my bio.

Miami Pilates Studios I recommend for expecting mamas🤍 (as an expecting mama and comprehensively certified Pilates instructor myself)

As an expecting mama, it can be intimidating going into studios where you don’t know whether or not they know how to modify for pregnancy… Luckily for me, I know what to look for in a class, instructor, and studio to make sure it’s the best experience for me and my baby. 🤍

I wanted to start posting the best studios for pregnancy in Miami. Starting with these ✨ You can’t go wrong with these studios and instructors I highlighted! It can be a scary time to experiment with movement, but if it’s done the right way it can be very beneficial to your body and overall health in pregnancy and beyond. 🤍

XOXO,
Pilates Girl 💋
