Hello Everyone! I am directing my own short film independently! This means that school is NOT helping me. I developed my film with some of my friends and we realized that we can put this on! My film is called “Cigarette?” and it is loosely based on how Joey(my boyfriend) and I met! The thing now is that filming can be costly. We need over $2000 in order to get things such as decorations and food for everyone. My team and I started a GoFundMe with a short video about why you should donate and where your money is going. I would really appreciate if you all could take a look! You don’t have to donate, even just sharing the link will help so much!
I do have to say that with almost every donation comes a “prize” which we will be explaining on instagram soon! For more information you can, of course, ask me or you can go to the instagram page @CigaretteTheFilm !
GoFundMe is linked in bio and right here: https://gofund.me/bc451b08e

Take Me Out (a CSULB 305 short)

Directed by Samuel Paramore

Cinematography by Sarah Hua @sarahhhh_bellssss

Written by Luke Burns @luke._.burns

Edited by Alex Baugh @alexbaugh_

Staring Jason Ta @thejasonta as Kane and Nicole Fonts @nicoleeee_smiles as Allison

This has been the project the whole first semester at CSULB was building towards. My wonderful group B *for Baddies* was total insanity (in a good way)! The talent and commitment each of them contributed to our projects was just incredible and Take Me Out is certainty no exception.

We barreled straight into this strange, slow, (hopefully) atmospheric genre-mash of 70's/60's hitman films, romantic drama, and (found in the editing process) a bit of a minor poisoned fever dream to cap it all off.

Alongside giving me giving our great AD a headache (shout out to @caden_posse for surviving the torture*, fighting for the ridiculous (complimentary) length of the film, and about 4 or 5 different cuts of the movie, I think we found some pretty rad stuff along the way.

All love to the 305 class! *Will also be posting the @screeningofthearts cut that screened...somewhere, eventually, for prosperity's sake!
