✨Dear Customers, I write to you with some news regarding the future of the shop. Over the past 6 months I have been negotiating with the landlord regarding the renewal of the lease. The negotiations have been complicated but I can happily now confirm that we have reached an agreement to continue leasing the shop until March 2027.

✨The challenges of the past 6 years have been incredibly hard. Shortly after signing in March 2020, disaster struck!!! During the global pandemic we were closed for 7 months of the first year. Not the best start for an independent business.

✨It didn’t end there with 6 floods over the last 5 years and the arrival of Oliver Bonas (amongst others😉)! We have been thrown everything along the way.

✨However we are not out of the woods and we have two years to make our shop successful enough to stay in Reigate. This is where you come in lovely customers! We need your support desperately. From cards, to gifts, to homeware, we need you to buy from us. Each and every sale matters to our 28 small businesses within the shop. Each and every sale will stop our shop being taken over by a chain. Who wants a chain filled homogenous high street? Not us, we hear you cry😂!

✨I am sure that you are as thrilled as we are for us to be staying for the next 2 years (and hopefully longer).

✨We would like to thank all of our fabulous and loyal customers for your continued support🧡.

New Window Alert ‼️Aimee & I had a wonderful day at the shop yesterday creating this beautiful Autumnal window.
Firstly it was out with the old window, hoovering done and a mad dash down to the wholesaler to get seasonal accessories. Whilst I was in shopper’s paradise, Aimee was working hard adding products and hanging my dead tree 🌳 from the garden.

Wow 🤩 it’s International Women’s Day which coincidentally happens to fall the same week the lease was signed ✍️ to make the shop as it is 🏬 offical 4 years !!! As cliche as it sounds, it has been a rollercoaster 🎢 with its huge amounts of ups, astonishing and unpredictable amounts of downs and some basic flat times.

During the 4 years there has been, divorces, deaths, serious illness, leak, thefts. Along with falling outs, falling ins and two beautiful baby 👶 boys !! But we’re still here through it all!

Our shop is a community, a hub and at times the most wonderful place to be a part of. We have had monumental success stories ( olive & me ) being the star of the show & we are so proud of her.
Super talented, organised Saz has basically rearranged the back office of the business, preventing Natasha having a nervous breakdown. Without her the shop wouldn’t be !!
As for Jayne who basically covers all the shifts nobody wants to do we have the most wonderful group of women !!!
Not forgetting to mention the lovely ladies who work in the shop day to day and who you see when you come in!
This is just mentioning a few and we want to say a big thank you to each and everyone of our sellers ( there is a lot of them lol 😂past and present) and of course we had to include our only male seller Poder - thanks for being there for us all!

To all the amazing, loyal and wonderful customers that have basically kept us going on those low sales day and helped make those amazing days make us believe that our dream of having a small business can come true.

But the biggest thank you goes to Natasha - without her continuous HARD work, perseverance and grit, this wonderful shop would not exist. What you do behind the scenes people can’t even imagine. So thank you for being you and for allowing all of us to be a small part of this story with you!
