As part of our studies into the flora, fauna, and climate of Mount's Bay we have recently started looking into Water Quality. We have looked at incoming freshwater for chemical indicators and since May taken weekly samples of Seawater at Long Rock for bacteriological testing. We hope to extend our work as these studies inform our work on Marine and Coastal Conservation. The data from bacteriological data from Long Rock may be of interest to water users, so we have posted the link here for easy access to that and similar data from around the coast. The intention is to study samples weekly for a full year. The Environment Agency does test at Long Rock and other locations in the Bay but only 10 times from May to September - their results are also available online at Swimfo. https://environment.data.gov.uk/bwq/profiles/ If you have any comments or queries, and/or would like to get involved in any of our many projects please drop us a line or two at mountsbaymarine@gmail.com  Many thanks, 😊
