Cheers to 2025 🥂 The Pas de Deux team is so thankful for the year we’ve had and how our film has been received ♥️
Thank you to @filmgmu for awarding us with Best Cinematography and Best Drama, as well as selecting us for both the Best of Mason and the Arts by George! showcases.
We are overflowing with gratitude to have been selected to screen at @trifest_2025 in Great Barrington, MA; it was a fantastic event.
Entering 2026, we are excited to be screening at the Virginia Emerging Filmmakers Festival in Winchester, VA! We hope to see you you there this April!

I finished my first roll shot on my F3 with these bts photos from my most recent music video set (the attached song^). Again I wish I had different lenses on me for certain shots, but I still like how these turned out tho. I’ll be sharing digital bts photos soon:)

Meet our crew: Mel Moya-Jaldin!

Mel is a first gen Latina student; she has worked on multiple sets ranging from music videos to capstone films, in multiple roles such as boom operator, grip, and assistant director. However, she prefers to AD because of the organizational aspect. She is the first and only member in her family pursuing the arts and looks forward to directing more projects in her future semesters.

🎬Fun fact about Mel: She loves the 90s Addams family movies and has been getting more into Deftones music. Her hair is also naturally red 💋 (obviously ;) )
