The girls were talking about 2016 makeup and I had to go to the archives!

It’s really wild to think that I’ve been in love with makeup for over 10 years. Insane.

To all of my college friends (and high school friends) that trusted me and went outside like this confidently, I love you. Def wouldn’t be here without you 🤍

A few days later, and I’m STILL in awe of what I witnessed the revival of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Scholarship Pageant after 7 years. What a moment.✨

Seeing the former queens come together to breathe life back into this legacy was truly beautiful. The intention, the grace, the excellence it was all felt.👏🏽

Watching y’all up there took me all the way back. I even pulled out some of my old pageant photos 🥹💜 I didn’t realize how much I missed that world…the glam, the sisterhood, the energy, all of it.

And Sharell @allhail_rell … my sister in every sense. Watching you walk that stage again almost broke me down. I literally felt tears in my eyes because I know your journey, your losses, your growth, and the strength you’ve carried through every chapter. Seeing you have that moment after all these years 🥹 that meant something to me. I’m so proud of you. I love you.

Congratulations again on such a meaningful and intentional revival. What you all did truly matters and sets the tone for the next generation.

And before I close this out 🫶🏼 a special thank you to the men of @betapsiques . Y’all have supported me on the yard, throughout campus, and even years later in every community initiative I put on. Your love and consistency never go unnoticed, and I appreciate you deeply. 💜✊🏽

Thank you for letting me be part of this moment. ✨

Serving as Miss Beta Psi 2017–2018 has been one of the most defining and emotional chapters of my life. This crown didn’t just sit on my head…it shaped me, challenged me, humbled me, and pushed me into a woman I didn’t even know I was becoming. I will forever cherish this experience and everything it poured into me.

To the distinguished men of the Beta Psi Chapter, thank you for uplifting me, believing in me, and setting a standard of excellence that molded my leadership. Your support has never gone unnoticed, and I’m eternally grateful.

To my beautiful court sisters, thank you for the love, the laughs, the late nights, and the sisterhood that time could never break. You all saw me, loved me, and pushed me when I needed it most and for that, I love you QUEens with everything in me. 💜

Thank you to the 2016–2017 Court, and to all the past QUEens who have volunteered their time, offered countless nights of guidance, and poured into me with encouragement, wisdom, and love. Every late night conversation, every word of advice, and every moment of support has shaped me in more ways than you know and I’m forever grateful for each of you 💜👑✨

To my 17 pageant babies: you ladies amazed me. You worked hard, you showed up, and you reminded me of why this legacy is so important. Watching you grow throughout this process was a blessing, and I’m extremely proud of each of you. The love I have for you all is truly essential to my soul.

To the new court, congratulations baby QUEens! Work hard, walk proudly, and make your own mark in this legacy. Your reign is your story… write it boldly. @mor.ganleee @lifeasfee_ @essierayy @charlidenise_ 💜💛

It has been my honor, my joy, and one of my greatest blessings to serve. Long live Beta Psi, and LONG LIVE THE QUEens. 👑💜✨

Love always,
Sharell Arianna Montgomery
