UIC 2016 rewind x AKS-FAB collaboration ☮️

On April 29th, 2026, we brought the AKS-FAB team ( consisting of @winstondouah @2015bbdwlzz @yiemilyyi_chen @russell.tam )to the @thisisuic campus to offer a custom bleach workshop for the UIC 2016 rewind event!

We couldn’t be more proud of how the event turned out! So many beautiful students got the chance to collaborate with us and customize their clothing - combining the freedom we felt in 2016 and the sustainability of 2026.

Thank you to @felixikhsanov for allowing us to put this even on, and to all the wonderful souls we met along the way.

When talking to Felix, we realized that this was the event for us - embracing student on student learning, and community, collaborative building is the next step to revolutionizing our creative world into one where we can all dream together.

Shoutout to all the musicians who performed that evening, especially @mamasfunkpalace who put on a show to say the least.

Keep on dreaming, more community collaborations coming soon 💜
