I want to be the aunt with crazy lore, and I think that aunt would definitely have a story about walking the runway at @supercrawl 🙂‍↕️

it was an honour to be part of this show, masterminded by @beaten.path.vintage, @inspiredbuthellatired, and @lovedlostthings, and to be part of such an insanely cool group of people!! 10/10 would do it again next year (but no birds allowed 🚫🦜)

What an amazing day at @Supercrawl. 🎶🎨❤️

There are few events that capture Hamilton quite like Supercrawl does. Seeing James Street North filled with artists, musicians, performers, vendors, families and people from every corner of our city is a reminder of just how much creativity and community we have here.

Hamilton’s arts and culture sector is not an extra, it is part of our identity, our economy and what makes people want to live, work and spend time in this city.

As I campaign for Mayor, I want a Hamilton where artists can afford to stay here, where independent businesses and cultural spaces can thrive, and where the City understands that investing in public art, festivals and accessible community events is an investment in Hamilton itself.

Supercrawl also shows what our downtown can be when we create welcoming public spaces where people can walk, gather, discover something new and feel connected to their city.

A huge thank you to Lisa LaRocca for her leadership, and to the enormous team of artists, organizers, volunteers, workers and community partners who make this festival possible.

Lisa is taking the helm of Supercrawl this year, and what an incredible way to begin this next chapter.

Hamilton is a city of creators.

Our job at City Hall should be to make sure they can continue creating here.

See you on James North. ❤️
