My Dragon Pal And Me!!

Gene Kelly, making everyone on the MGM set of 1950's "Black Hand" feel like the main character. 🥹 These darling photos were actually taken by legendary LIFE Magazine photographer Alfred Eisenstaedt, considered a master of candid photography (he's actually the one who took the iconic photo of the sailor kissing the woman in a nurse's uniform in Times Square on V-J Day). Most likely, using his trusted 35mm Leica IIIa rangefinder camera with no flash...thereby making it entirely possible that Gene didn't even know he was being photographed here. Beautiful, unscripted Gene Kelly magic. ❤️ Gene Kelly & friends on the set of "Black Hand" (1950).

Also...can anyone guess which Old Hollywood pal he's smiling at in the photo on the left? 😊

Gene would eventually welcome three children, with all of whom he had the loveliest relationship. 🩷Kerry is pictured here with her Dad, Mom, stepmother, Jeannie (with whom she was very close), and her little brother. Love you, my sweet friends...and I'm wishing you all a wonderful day. I'll see you very soon. 😘

You can see these cuties dancing together in their only joint film appearance in the linked reel above. Now, back to our regularly scheduled caption. 😉 Gene and Fred (along with other members of their family) also owned and operated two successful dancing schools in the Pittsburgh area. And, Fred would later become a highly accomplished and pioneering director in early television, with such credits to his name as The Steve Allen Show (1951) and The Colgate Comedy Hour.
Also worth noting is the fact that, by all accounts, Fred really was an incredibly lovely man. 🩷 Love you so much, my sweet friends...and I'm wishing you all a wonderful day. I'll see you very soon. 😘 Gene Kelly, along with his brother, Fred Kelly and their families.

20 years of Psych!! I still cannot believe this picture exists! I cannot believe any of these pictures exist! Thank you to the cast and crew and everyone involved with making one of the most ridiculously brilliant, silly, lighthearted shows (and movies)! I’m so grateful for all the laughs and friends and Psych family who understand my random obscure references, why I needed to have a blue car, or why my home is full of pineapples. I can’t wait to go on more adventures and make more memories with my PsychOs! Thank you for 20 years!!
