Fighting the garden snake.

A GREAT DAY IN GREAT BARRINGTON—

Took a drive across the border to Massachusetts yesterday with my brother Ben @thefarmersfeastinc and had the best time walking around Great Barrington. We had coffee, tried on some clothes at @bohoexchange2010 — swipe to see the vintage @filson1897 flannel I picked up — and checked out the offerings at @yellowhousebooks, where I purchased “Gotham,” a Pulitzer-prize winning history of New York City.

Ben is one of my dearest friends and having him live so close to me up in the country has had a transformative effect on my life here. Being able to spontaneously hang with someone you have so much fun with is just about the greatest gift you can receive in this life. He has great plans for doing wonderful things with his skills as a chef, farmer and caterer, and everything he does will make this place I love so much even better.

I was delighted Ben quickly noticed and told me how much he liked my jacket. Poor guy always has to hear me jabbering about my clothes, but it may be rubbing off on him! 😆 It just so happens that this garage jacket from @leftfieldnyc is one of my all-time favorite items, and he indulged me by taking a few shots of it. With a simple white tee and pair of engineer boots I am ready to hit any cool local bar or work at a gas station. Seriously love this thing.

As for the jeans, they are my first pair of Iron Hearts. When jeans get to this point of fading I try not to wear them too often. At this moment they really are just about perfect. Grateful to @instadiggles for picking these out for me the first time I shopped at Self Edge in NYC shortly after starting this feed.
