Today would have been Jefe’s third birthday, which means it’s also his brothers’, Dezi’s (@instajude1325 ) and Ziggy’s (@ziggyxolotl ) birthday.
Today’s post and photos are dedicated to these 3 beautiful boys.
We first met Jefe, Dezi and Ziggy when they were just 4 weeks old. Jefe was the first of the 3 puppies placed in my hands, and at that moment I knew I never wanted to let go.
I had a chance to visit them again two weeks later, and got to spend more time playing with all 3 of them. However, Jefe was the only one who just wanted to curl up in my lap and sleep. Our bond was sealed that day, and I was more sure than ever that he was our boy.
The photos in this post are from those first two visits, and our one and only full family reunion that took place about a week or two after each puppy went to their forever family.
Emil and I are currently not home in Toronto, otherwise we would’ve have made Jefe’s favourite meal today and set out a plate for him. We still plan on doing so once we’re back…
