My mum and dad wanted to hear me sing, so I SANG. Thanks to Colleen for hosting a beautiful cabaret, Mark and the band for playing the heck outta this tune, Tall Kirk for doing his thing on sound and to the fab cast of Music of the Beatles for welcoming me into the fun last night! Your show is spectacular. Cheers to D2 for another hugely successful season almost in the books and to the thousands of patrons who support what we do and are so passionate about. Without you, the only living creature who ever would’ve heard me sing this is the spider in my car who has yet to be located. #ihavenothing #whitneyhouston #cabaret

Idk if there’s anything better in the world. My birthday weekend, plus my friend from Manitoba (a real come from away), plus my favorite show, plus my favorite captain, plus the birthday of my favorite captain.

The show closed in Toronto roughly one year ago, one week before my birthday. When this non-replica run was announced with my captain in the cast, I knew I would make my way to it no matter what. Then I bumped into an entire group of talented people in London (not that one across the Atlantic), and another round of this belated spring.

A big shout out to the director @julietomaino of this run - a female Jewish rabbi. How refreshing. And Kelly’s low notes are absolute gems.

P1 - P15 curtain call moments
P1 Cailin happy birthday!
P2 Band members plus the cast today
P3 - P12 Oh just something dumped from my camera
P13 Group shot for the band
P14 The exit music
P15 The stage of this non-replica production
P16 The flower bouquet I picked for our birthday star
